Weekly Programs
OLHC's enrichment programs include Italian, Music, and Gym classes for Kindergarten to 8th Grade students during the school day.

Afterschool Programs
We have a Science Club for Grades K-3 & 4-8, Sports Club K-8, a Fine Art Club Grades K-3 and 4-8, and a Theater Program in partnership with Kristen Dalto, Theater Director for Moore Catholic HS.  Additionally, we have added a Cooking Club for students in Grades 3-8 for this year!

For the upper grades, we offer additional academic support for Mathematics and TACHS instruction in-school.  We also have added an enrichment class for Italian for our 8th Graders to prepare them for the Languages Other Than English Proficiency Exam, to be taken in the Spring.

Religious Instruction
We offer enhanced religion programs conducted by the clergy.  Mrs. Patricia O'Dessa visits with our K-3 students weekly to share with them the wonderful teachings of the Good Shepherd Program as part of our religious enrichment.

Instructional Technology
OLHC has SMARTBoards in all classrooms, and offers instructional technology in all grades K-8.  We have iPad mini's and Chromebooks on a 2:1 basis in Grades K-2, as well as 1:1 Chromebooks in Grades 3-8.  We also offer a 1:1 iPad Program in partnership with St. Joseph by-the-Sea, and a Chromebook-enriched STEM program for our 7th and 8th Graders.  Through this partnership with St. Joseph by-the-Sea, our students compete in their annual Robotics Competition, as well as learning to code through Swift.
A NEW Learning initiative in the Intermediate grades, Coding/Game Design is part of the student’s academic day ! 

All students K-8 use FrontRow, RAZ-Kids and other online learning supports to guide their instruction on a self-paced as part of our Blended Learning instructional model.
